EBP Building Products supply a range of products to the UK Construction industry. For clarity we have organised our products into three product groups;
A New Supply Partnership has been forged between EBP Building Products & ULMA Architectural, allowing EBP customers access to a wide range of channel drainage systems for both industrial and domestic applications.
EBP’s Managing Director, Philip Brooke recently visited ULMA’s operation with Commercial Director, Sam Brooke, in order to observe the manufacturing process and attend key presentations.
“We were impressed by what we saw during our visit, which has further reinforced the decision that we made earlier in the year to operate as an exclusive regional distributor for ULMA. This deal enables us to provide a wide range of high quality drainage channels that are also competitive on price. We have a wide range of stock on the ground and can offer a technical service which altogether helps us to address the requirements of our customers” commented, Sam Brooke.
ULMA Architectural is part of the ULMA Group which is a group of manufacturing companies working together as a cooperative in the north of Spain, near Bilbao. EBP’s Philip Brooke added “ULMA’s way of business fits with EBP’s ethos of developing partnerships with key suppliers of core products, working together to provide supply certainty within challenging markets. Part of EBP’s ethos, as well as own manufacture & OEM agreements, is to represent UK & overseas manufacturers at the highest level within the UK supply chain”

Staff from EBP Building Products were proud to raise over £500 for SSAFA (The Armed Forces Charity – Supporting Military Families).
Funding was raised through a sponsored walk on Sun 8th Oct up Snowdon, the UK’s second highest mountain. EBP staff reached the summit and completed the challenge in good time despite foggy conditions, and were determined to not let it dampen spirits. A cheque was presented to Malcolm Smith MBE, chairman of the Lancashire division on Friday 27th October.
Military charities are particularly close to the heart of EBP’s Managing Director, Philip Brooke. With a son in the Royal Navy and two nephews in the Parachute Regiment, Philip feels strongly about supporting those serving or who have previously served our country.
Dig In are a charity that involve military, ex-military and their families in a practical way by offering free community gardening projects to allow people with shared experiences to come together and support each other.
Channel 5 decided to commission their building challenges programme, Construction Squad: Operation Homefront to help Dig In and their members to construct a Therapy Garden for veterans and their families…but they needed to enlist expert help. And that’s where EBP came in.
Channel 5 approached EBP to find a roofing solution for the wet weather they were experiencing…and were blown away by the results. They needed a product that would be weatherproof, waterproof, long-lasting and easy to use and our very own Frank Turner was called upon to explain how revolutionary new product, Firestone Rubber Cover™, meets the brief.
Firestone Rubber Cover™, only recently used a residential product, is one of EBP’s core products (along with natural roofing slates and channel drainage systems). Fast forward to thirty minutes into the episode and watch Frank, in his first starring TV role, explain just how this revolutionary new product works:
As you can see from the clip, Firestone Rubber Cover™ can be rolled out like a carpet (no blow torches necessary) and has a minimum life expectancy of a staggering fifteen years. For more information please call EBP on 01254 52244.
Dig In North West welcomes anyone from the military community to join them for gardening, a chat and a brew and hold sessions for:
• Veterans of any age or from any service
• Reservists between tours
• Those still serving but who are wounded, injured or sick
• Partners and parents
• The whole family by offering fun days for the children

As you can see from this picture, Ensor is so proud its on-going support of SSAFA, we are even displaying their logo on our trucks!
Like Blackpool Tower and of course our very own Ensor, SSAFA is another long-standing British institution founded in the 1880s. Standing for the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Families Association, SSAFA is over 125 years old and is supported by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who not only opened its new headquarters in London but is also one of its patrons.
SSAFA is the oldest military charity and yet its aims and objectives, as defined by the Royal Charter, remain the same to this day: ‘To help and assist the serving members of our Armed Forces, the veteran and the families of both in their hour of greatest need.’
Impressed by the hard work and dedication of the charity, Ensor generously sponsored an SSAFA concert, held at Blackburn Cathedral, earlier this year. The concert featured the prestigious SSAFA Lancashire RAF Dishforth Military Wives’ Choir and The Band of the Kings’ Division and Ensor paid for the buffet for the attending delegates.
The evening was a resounding success, so much so that our Managing Director, Philip Brooke has been invited to their AGM next April as a guest speaker. There will be more on this shortly…
The Lancashire Branch of SSAFA is based at Fulwood Barracks near Preston where teams of trained volunteers offer help and advice to serving personnel and veterans and their families. The charity’s promise is to provide life-long support to anyone who is currently serving or has ever served in the Royal Navy, the British Army or the Royal Air Force and in 2012 it supported a staggering 40,645 veterans and their families.
Ensor is honoured to be associated with Britain’s most trusted charity* whose 7500 volunteers support 50,000 people, ranging from D-Day veterans to 3,812 young soldiers and their families in their 20s and 30s who have been wounded in more recent conflicts.

Firestone RubberCover, the technically superior roofing system that will put your business ahead of the competition, is now being brought right to your door by EBP. Whilst traditionally by-passed by the builders’ merchant trade, RubberCover is specifically aimed at the residential flat roofing market in which builders’ merchants play an important role in terms of the supply chain.
In order to take full advantage of this amazing EPDM single ply roofing membrane, we are offering a one day only installation training course which will provide:
Gone are the days of bitumen, blow torches and gas bottles and hours spent melting layer upon layer of roofing. Firestone RubberCover not only reduces potential health and safety hazards by minimising the amount of equipment used, it is also quick and easy to use…once EBP gives you the know-how.
Courses start at 9am on a day of your choice and will finish at approximately 2.30pm, with the opportunity to ask questions from our technical staff.
For more information or to register on the course, contact our dedicated product division headed up by Joanne Morrison on 01254 52244, mobile 07845 269912, fax 01254 682371 or email email@example.com. Alternatively you can watch this installation video that will demonstrate the speed and ease at which this exciting and innovative product can be installed.
